Your City Sleeps /// Kylmyys/// God & Vanilla ///Guest says

"Your City Sleeps has become one of the area's most ambitious ambient-music makers, with a highly advanced skill for generating tenebrous atmospheres and dramatic, post–Blade Runner soundscapes. In appearance, Kazemian bears a striking resemblance to late-'60s Vangelis, and some of his compositions approach that legendary keyboardist's for unusual timbres and atmospheric grandeur. With great attention to detail, Your City Sleeps offers an unconventionally beautiful, superior way to chill." -Dave Segal, The Stranger

KYLMYYS - Official Releases - Experiments in Sound - Electronic Press Kit

Kylmyys is comprised of two musicians, Jason Chamberlain and Brian Kidd, both possessing broad musical backgrounds and palates. These innovative songsmiths have an affinity for synthesized sounds and melodies and have an uncanny ability convey the often-unnoticed beauty of the interaction between the blue planet and its denizens.
Kylmyys invites you to immerse yourself into its entrancing compositions and be transported into the musical milieu of percussive glitches interwoven with lush ambient soundscapes— connecting yourself to the source of universal biorhythms.

God and Vanilla, the ethereal dark ambient project of solo guitarist Richard O'Leary, creates lush tapestries and hauntingly inviting dreamscapes that draw the listener to an otherworldly place where warm colors run together to create beautiful portraits. In addition to performing in clubs and DIY spaces around Seattle, God and Vanilla was added to the list of captivating performances presented by Seattle's acclaimed Elevator music series earlier this year. Traveling from his small horse farm in the foothills northeast of the city, sometimes logging hundreds of miles per week, Richard continues to be a dedicated supporter of Seattle's thriving experimental music scene as well as the less typical offerings in local music.
