Won Kun Jun: PAUSE

Gallery LVS is presenting Pause, Won Kun Jun’s fourth solo exhibition from May 18th to June 24th. This exhibition will be showcasing Jun’s recent collection which is more dynamic, vibrant and colorful than his previous works. His canvases are filled with a whole range of colors that almost seems computer- generated and even somewhat futuristic as the various hues within each canvass are perfectly juxtaposed while popping out in vibrancy. The visual simplicity of the paintings and the bright color spectrum Jun uses offers a somewhat gleeful and light-hearted connotation to his paintings, providing a rather calming effect. Jun is a painter who uses colors, lines, dots and other polygonal shapes to infuse artistic philosophies of both the East and West.
