Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra and the Saint Thomas Boys Choir

“St. Matthew’s Passion” is considered a masterpiece of classical sacred music. The choir dates back almost 800 years, as Bach himself conducted the Saint Thomas Boys Choir and after his death, the choir dedicated itself to preserving his music. The concert lasts a whopping three hours, but it’s a classical performance to hear before you die. This is the fourth performance from the famous orchestra and choir in Seoul, led by Gotthold Schwarz.
