Prism Cola-tech Opening Party

Time Out says

Yup, the late 90’s dance hall that served all of the neighborhood teenagers (the ruins of which have been the secretive fun house for delinquent seniors and artful souls) is arriving in Hongdae in mint condition, just for this day. It’s got mirror balls and everything, with complimentary retro candies and glow bracelets to be given out to its guests.

And there’s music, including Earl and The Steadies, a high-energy “island rock” trio from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Their sound is funky, fun and reggae-driven, with some more poppy tunes as well. Having opened for The Wailers Band and toured with The Rolling Stones and The Tragically Hip in his two decades of music career, frontman Earl Pereira brings the groove and the vibe that’s perfect as a near-summer party anthem.

Sons of Tiger, Danny Boy & The Carriages, Manju Pocket and Dalseom will also fill the “tech” with diverse sounds. Time Out Seoul is giving away a few tickets, so make sure you check our Facebook page.
