Time Out says

Feeling a little over worked? Feeling you haven’t contributed much to society much lately? Feeling a little worn down and heavy from all the exercise you haven’t been getting? Well why not “Run For The Orphans” at the Oak Tree Run? The Oak Tree Run is a charity event with the mission to raise funds that will go directly to scholarships for orphaned children in Korea, who are too often and too easily deprived of quality education. With 430 runners who have participated last year in the very first Oak Tree Run, 3 children were fortunate to receive scholarships ($18,000 was collected). The choice of 5K, 10K and half marathon will take place on Saturday October 15th at Yeoinaru Han River Park, and everyone is invited to participate. You can watch performances by Kate Kim and Sonya-Maria here as well. Those who would like to participate must register online at http://bit.do/otr2016 with a registration fee of 33,000 won. A bit steep? 100% of all proceeds will go directly to the educational fund for orphaned children. So, come and run for 2 good causes, your health and helping humanity!
