Sweet Swans

Gigantic inflated rubber swans will be swarming Seokchon Lake, from April 1st until May 8th (if you've immediately thought of the huge yellow rubber duck installation from 2014, you are on the right track; it's been created by the same artist, Florentijn Hofman). With this group of 3.5 to 16 meter-tall artworks entitled Sweet Swans afloat, 11 minute-long fireworks will light up the sky from 9pm on April 2nd. All of these festivities have been set up to celebrate the grand opening of Lotte World Tower (which, apparently, will be the tallest tower that the country has seen). Spring, swans and fireworks—what could possibly go wrong?
