The title of this exhibition is taken from a poem written by the Philippines' national hero before he was executed by the Spanish authorities in 1896, and refers to the what the SouthEast Asian country could have been if it were not for the abuses of colonisation. Some 117 years later, the country still feels like a 'Lost Eden' and this is what these 13 artists from the Philippines – some young and emerging, others already established in the region – try to capture with their paintings, installations and multimedia.
