Flocked to for stellar cocktails by street stalwarts The Library and The Cufflink Club, Keong Saik gains a bit of wine wisdom with Vida Vino. Styled with a homely warmth, the wine bar offers a good selection of approachable whites, reds and sweet wines dominated by New World producers in Spain, Chile, Australia and South Africa available by the glass ($12-$21) and bottle ($48-$230), as well as Spanish, French and Italian bubblies by the bottle starting at a good $60 for Valdobbiadene-produced Mionetto Sergio prosecco. Offering an additional point of distinction, Vida Vino complements the street’s shaken offerings with its small menu of wine-based cocktails like its Jack Daniels and Cointreau-enhanced Sangria Republic ($12) sipper, and simple cold and hot Spanish tapas ($5-$19).
