Just like last year's, this year's Pride Month is going to be one for the history books as it goes off the streets and online due to Covid-19 restrictions. While various electric IRL queer ragers are off the cards, and gay clubs are temporarily closed during this stay-home period, Singapore’s LGBTQ+ community takes the virtual space to celebrate the freedom to love with Pink Dot, and to promote a more inclusive Singapore with Pink Fest. There's also a trivia night, wellness workshop and film festival to get your pride.

IndigNation

IndigNation is recognised as Singapore's first public LGBT festival. Unlike the global Pride Month, it runs annually from August 1 to 31, and stands as a major milestone for queer visibility and awareness in Singapore. First celebrated in 2005, IndigNation runs a full programme of film screenings, open mics and conferences for the LGBTQ+ community (locals and foreigners alike) to gather and collaborate.
