The Asian Contemporary Ensemble makes its 2014 debut with A Malay Rhythms Extravaganza performance, conceived by musical and artistic director and conductor Kahchun Wong. The lighthearted performance consists of five types of Malay dance and five original compositions by local composers, taking their inspiration from the Malay dances. The ensemble includes local pianist and rising star Abigail Sin.
