Time Out says

Good news fans, music festival Baybeats returns to Esplanade this October 28 to 30. The festival will take place across five different stages: Powerhouse, Annexe, Chillout Stage, Arena and the Open Stage. Expect a mix of punk rock, hip-hop and electronic music to play at the festival.

Located at the Singtel Waterfront Theatre, the Powerhouse venue will house the likes of Otoboke Beaver, Drinking Boys and Girls Choir. At The Annexe, you can catch local artist Tengy performing alongside The Cosmic Owls and Go Go Machine Orchestra.

Local talents like Carpet Golf and Iman & The State of Mind will be rocking out at The Chillout Stage at the Esplanade Concourse. The Arena will house local and international acts such as homegrown The Voodoo Sound and Thai band Khana Bierbood. The festival will also cast a light on Baybeats Budding Bands, an artist development programme that identifies independent Singapore bands.

The Open Stage, located at the Esplanade Lawn, features up-and-upcoming musicians in 15-minute sets, with acts to be announced at a later date. Baybeats registration for the general public will open October 25. Details on how to register will be announced closer to the date.
