Popular Japanese discount store (and our favourite snack joint) opens its third and largest store in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Located in City Square Mall, you can find an extended catalog of food, snacks and delicatessen, a food court and a bargain section.
Of course a bigger space – we're talking 26,000 sq ft exactly – means that you get a wider selection of your favourites from Don Don Donki like Japanese croquette, omu-soba and that sweet potato snack everyone loves and will queue for.
After a spot of shopping at Don Don Donki (and tolerating the infectious theme song), you might want to settle down for a hearty meal at the foodcourt. You'll find that there will be Hokkaido Ramen Santouka, the much hyped Hokkaido ice cream from Naganuma Ice and one of the best fried chicken you'll ever have from Rang Mang Shukudo, just to name a few.
Bargain hunters will love the new corner where they can hunt for deals starting from a dollar. If you find the set up familiar, it's because it is following the same one you will see in Japan that uses carton boxes and handwritten price tags.
Don Don Donki in City Square Mall is the third outlet in Singapore after the opening of the other stores in Orchard Central and 100AM Mall. It officially opens to public January 11 from 9am to midnight daily. Time for some late night shopping!
