Shrug off the big F1 parties and descend into the gritty space at Headquarters. And in town to get you grimy is Berlin-based DJ No.TFS, who hails from the city's KitKatClub. She's bringing 90s Detroit techno to the dancefloor, transporting you back to the genesis of the genre with rumbling synths and driving beats. Headquarters promises "a fantasia of emotions", so put on your best rave fit and get the party started.

YES YOU for The Glass Hut

October 1

Don't really care about F1? You can party it up during the Singapore Grand Prix weekend without it being about F1 at all. Instead, hit the dancefloor and support local arts at YES YOU's event for The Glass Hut. This creative space and champion of Singapore's arts scene recently lost its home at 195 Pearl's Hill Terrace and is looking to rebuild. Now, you can chip in at this groovy party held at iKi by Ikigai, which features a stellar line-up of DJs including Kylie Nicole, Jamie Hall, Taaka (YES YOU founder), and Vaibs (regular at Headquarters and TUFF Club). Now that's a party worth staying up for.

GET tickets at bit.ly/yesyouxtgh, starting at $31.57 for general admission.

Perched 51 storeys up at CapitaSpring, alfresco rooftop destination 1-Arden promises panoramic views of the Formula 1 racing event this weekend. And accompanying the action on the tarmac are two spectacular DJ sets. First up on October 1 is prolific music producer Marc Vedo, who burst from the UK club and underground scene and went on to produce numerous dancefloor anthems and chart breaking hits. And keeping the party alive post-race on October 2 is Singapore-based DJ and producer Stephen Day, who'll be bringing upbeat sounds of soul, funk and house to the outdoor decks at 1-Arden.
