In case you don't know what you'll be scooping up here, this shoulder-rubbing 52-seater Orchard Road branch is the 1,276th outpost of a regional-going-on-international curry house franchise. The plated half-gravy, half-rice experience is as customisable as its framework allows: pick from five levels of spice (the beef-based Hayashi is the only non-spicy sauce), over 30 meat and seafood toppings and portions of rice (by weight, from 150g to 550g). The crisp, dry-battered fried chicken nuggets with 203 grams of rice is good, but we aren’t quite sure about the pork cutlet with translucent processed cheese.
