There is no better way to bask in the glow of affluence and economic gumption of our neighbour down south than a visit to Sentosa Island. Sip espresso at Kith Café while enjoying the view of million-dollar yachts and homes, or just people-watch to your heart’s content. The cakes and drinks are thankfully more affordable than the view – S$10 (about RM26) for a glass of chilled Sauvignon Blanc or S$4.50 for a Kith Macchiato.
The coffee here is crafted as a bridge between Australian and Singaporean tastes, done neither too weak nor too strong, with a deep coffee flavour without the bitter aftertaste. It’s a café with something for everyone: toys for children and pets, protein shakes with skimmed milk for the healthy set, and fresh, smoke-free sea breeze for the rest of us.
