SPRMRKT in the Telok Ayer neighbourhood adds a retail nook and 20 menu items to its cosy new space. Working with the experience he’s earned at féted fine dining restaurants like Waku Ghin and Les Amis, chef co-owner Joseph Yeo’s creates plates of shrimp paste chicken with sriracha mayo wrap ($14), and daily dessert specials like chocolate cream cheesecake with pastry chef Furrene Hoh. SPRMRKT’s shelves also feature products by makers like Two Rabbits Smoky Chilli ($12), sodas by Citizen Pop ($5.50) and pasta sauces, salad dressings and preserves ($3.50- $18) made by the restaurant.
