Brunch by the Northern waters
It's brunch with a view at this laid-back and spacious cafe overlooking Punggol Waterway. Pair your eggs Benedict ($10.80-$13) or try customised breakfast plates ($19.80) with a variety of breads, meats or seafood, vegetables, and starchy sides, then specify how you’d like your eggs done. Kurobuta pork collar ($28.80) and sweet potato gnocchi with smoked duck breast and bacon in cream sauce ($21) will fuel you later in the day. Other specialties include their duck & lychee Pizza ($17), crabmeat linguine ($17) made from real crabmeat and salmon Benedict with waffles instead of the traditional english muffins ($13). For lighter bites, opt for parmesan cheese sticks ($4.80) and chunky fries that come in truffle mayo, masala or bacon ($10.80). Opened by a trio of siblings who were inspired by their love for food and pastries, and who wanted to make good use of the location, the owners of Whisk and Paddle is said to make the dishes here from scratch.
