If your idea of a good time is an unlimited flow of wines, beers and tasty cocktails, Caffe Fernet is the spot to spend National Day while you relish in the infectious parade atmosphere. On August 9, from 5pm to 9pm, the alfresco joint is serving up a one-day-only family-style course dinner with unlimited drinks (from $200). Expect to feast on Italian dishes with a local twist such as Peranakan rendang braised short ribs, coal-kissed hamachi and prawn otah tortellini. Thirsty? Quaff down a punchy Singapore Sling Slushie specially curated to commemorate the special day or stick to the comforts of a stiff negroni, either way, they're both a worthy toast to the incoming F15s flying above you.

  • Raffles Place

On National Day, this waterfront restaurant and bar is almost certain to draw a patriotic crowd– all thanks to the binocular views of the parade and hypnotic fighter jet flybys on the alfresco deck. It is also a spot where the party and after-party will be held. From 5pm to midnight, the National Day Rooftop Package ($588 per table of up to six) sets the after-party tone with a bottle of Roku Gin, a choice of one bottle of Haku vodka or Chita whiskey plus mixers, all paired with a sharing platter of Japanese fried comfort food. It's the spot to gather round your crew and revel in the festive atmosphere and welcome the celebratory fireworks with a toast.
