As part of this year's Singapore Night Festival, Mr Punch Public House invites all to step back into the good ol' days of puppet shows and theatres – with dinner and drinks for the merry crowd.
Learn about the beginnings of Punch & Judy – one of the biggest forms of entertainment in 1920s Britain – through themed memorabilia ranging from the puppets themselves to other must-see collectibles at MINT Museum of Toys from August 19. Then laugh along to the local adaptation of the husband and wife – titled Dinner & Division – from August 29 to 31. In between the live performances, try your hands on a punchy, cocktail-making activity.
