The Last Supper

Taking the biblical Last Supper as a starting point, Hong Kong playwright Matthew Cheng gives a voice to the suffering experienced by those living in the margins of Hong Kong society. In this dark comedy, a mother and son have their first – and last – supper together after a long absence from each other’s lives before they take their own lives. Part of the M1 Chinese Theatre Festival.
