You're in for a night of roaring laughter with this Olivier Award-winning comedy by playwright Shelagh Stephenson. The Memory of Water presented by Wag the Dog Theatre – a new theatre collective in Singapore – isn't your usual slapstick production.
Things slowly start to unravel when three sisters Teresa, Mary and Catherine along with their significant others, reunite to arrange their mother's funeral. While you can expect lots of dark humour throughout the production, feelings of melancholy and nostalgia also set in as the play explores themes of family and loss following the death of the family matriarch. This relatable production is one that will strike both heart and home.
