Dinusha Uthpala Upasena is someone who openly acknowledges his affiliation and his fascination with philosophy. As such, his exhibition delves into the area of Metaphysics – that which talks about life and existence. Titled ‘A Text’, Dinusha’s work signifies certain ideas of western philosophy and the purpose or objective of this Text is to attempt to move beyond the alienation we experience in relation to the Objective World through the approach of Absolute Idealism, Materialism and Psycho-Analysis.
