Time Out says

Two young artists are to adorn the Lionel Wendt. The first, Dileepa Jeewantha, calls himself “an artist looking for the meaning in life”, and his life in particular. His abstract art also contains the message that man, a being dependent on nature, should preserve nature, and not ruin it.

Co-exhibitor Mahesh Indika, a less abstract artist, believes art should “speak simply and aesthetically.” The matter of his work is mostly the hopes, aspirations and dreams of individuals.
