The 69th anniversary of the Sri Lankan cinema and the 44th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Film Corporation and the 60th anniversary of Lester James Peiris’s film Rekhawa fall this year.
To celebrate the anniversaries, a series of programmes are scheduled:
Jan 17 – Sikuruliya at 3.30
– Hatharadenama Soorayo at 6.30
Jan 18 – Sarawita at 3.30
– Rekawa at 6.30
Jan 19 – Walmath Wuwo at 3.30
– Thushara at 6.30
Jan 20 – Allapu gedara at 3.30
A film workshop at the NFL from 9am on January 19,2016 will also be scheduled.
