Shane McCrae has written four full-length books of poems: "Mule" (finalist for the Kate Tufts Discovery Award and a PEN Center USA Literary Award), "Blood," "Forgiveness Forgiveness," and "The Animal Too Big to Kill" (winner of the 2014 Lexi Rudnitsky/Editor's Choice Award), and three chapbooks. His poems and prose have appeared in many anthologies, including "Best American Poetry," and have been published in "The American Poetry Review," "Fence," "Boston Review," "Agni, "jubilat" and elsewhere. He holds an MFA from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop and a JD from Harvard Law School.

Kathryn Davis is the author of seven novels, the most recent of which is "Duplex." Her other books are "The Thin Place," "Versailles," "The Walking Tour," "Hell: A Novel," "The Girl Who Trod on a Loaf," and "Labrador." She received a Kafka Prize for fiction by an American woman, the Morton Dauwen Zabel Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and a Guggenheim Fellowship. In 2006, she won the Lannan Foundation Literary Award. Currently, she is the senior fiction writer on the faculty of Washington University Writing Program.
