School of Rock St. Louis says
On Feb. 28, School of Rock will show their support for public radio station 88.1 KDHX with a benefit concert at The Stage at KDHX.

5pm David Bowie's Blackstar performed in its entirety by the School of Rock Ballwin House Band with special guest saxophonists Ben Reece, Austin Cebulske and Zac Minor.

6pm The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust performed in its entirety by the School of Rock Kirkwood House Band.

In August, KDHX went public with the news of the financial problems they were facing. They successfully raised the $200,000 that it took to keep the station running, but they still need our help. KDHX is an independent, non-commercial, listener-supported community radio station that offers a range of music along with cultural programming since 1987. KDHX plays local, regional, national and international music and supports Saint Louis' thriving arts scene in more ways than one.

School of Rock is a performance based music school for kids and adults with two locations in Saint Louis, one in Kirkwood and one in Ballwin. Kids work in groups and prepare for end of season shows which they perform at real rock venues in Saint Louis.
This benefit concert will showcase the audition-only House Bands from both the Kirkwood and Ballwin School of Rock. The School of Rock House Bands are made up of hard working, talented students under the age of 18.
