In this world, being a good performer is not enough. You need tools to help you stand out to producers. Want to get booked more on the local, regional, and national level? Mimi Le Yu and Carrie Meyer of Insomniac Studios are here to help you reach your performance goals. During this workshop, students will learn the tools of the trade for marketing themselves to audiences and producers alike. Discussions will cover topics related to the business of performance including how you perform both on and off stage, communicating with producers, headshots, video, and social media profiles, and much more! We will also discuss the ins, outs, and expectations once you are booked for a show. To end our workshop, students will participate in a mini-photoshoot with Carrie and will receive one hi res photo for promotional materials. Workshop to start at 1 pm, shoots end by 5 pm. Cost $35 The workshop session will be limited to *14* participants. To ensure your slot, you MUST pre-pay. To register, please contact Carrie Meyer at: carrie@insomniacstudios.net.
