The event creator says
"Moonshine & Mojo Hands," the world's first blues music reality show will premiere its debut episode at the new National Blues Museum in St. Louis, Missouri at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20! The event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and wil linclude a Q&A with the show's creators Jeff Konkel and Roger Stolle.

The National Blues Museum event represents the first - but hardly the last - opportunity blues fans will have to see the inaugural episode of "Moonshine & Mojo Hands." It will begin streaming online the next day, Thursday, April 21, and will be viewable in all markets. Additional episodes will debut each week and will stream exclusively online at www.moonshineandmojohands.com.

Stolle and Konkel previously teamed up on the award-winning blues documentaries "M for Mississippi: A Road Trip Through the Birthplace of the Blues" and "We Juke Up in Here: Mississippi’s Juke Joint Culture at the Crossroads."

For the new project, the duo traveled Mississippi’s back roads in search of juke joints, house parties, barbecue, soul food, folk artists, moonshiners and – of course – the men who keep the uniquely American music form of the blues alive in the land of its birth. The show will feature a wide range of musicians both celebrated and obscure. Featured artists include James “Super Chikan” Johnson, Leo Bud Welch, Jimbo Mathus, Robert “Bilbo” Walker, Mark “Muleman” Massey, Terry “Harmonica” Bean, Lucious Spiller, Louis “Gearshifter” Youngblood and many more.

The show is a joint production of Cat Head Delta Blues & Folk Art and Broke & Hungry Records.
