American photographer, William Eggleston glided from black and white photography to colour in the early 70s and introduced a style that is still revered by photographers today. He says of his atmospheric pictures that he isn’t interested in documenting reality and yet when he positions his lens like a fly on the wall or a walking dog, Eggleston shows that there is always a story being told in the banality of everyday life.
