Khatia Buniatishvili/ONU70

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the United Nations the UN’s orchestra will accompany virtuoso Georgian pianist Khatia Buniatishvili in a programme of Rachmaninov and Dvořák. Known for her attacking style at the piano, Buniatishvili is something of a crowd-pleaser, even if recent critics of her performances have wished her striking talent was tempered by a bit of delicacy or restraint, if only for the sake of the poor piano.
