International design exhibition showcasing young, exciting designers in the fields of fashion, jewellery, accessories and interiors.
Aimed at consumers looking for something a little different, international design exhibition Blickfang returns to Zurich for the 19th time this November. It brings together more than 220 young, exciting designers from around the world in the fields of fashion, jewellery, accessories and interiors. Unlike some exhibitions, the products here are not just to look at. Everything on display is for sale, making this a great place to hunt out one-off gifts and unusual design pieces that are an antidote to big brands and mass market products. Most designers are on site, so you can quiz them before you buy. Old favourites including textile designer Isabelle Bürgin and fashion label Balseca & Weber will be back, but around 60 per cent of the designers in this year’s edition have never been before. Among them, French blogger Caroline Bodmer will debut her Ann & Line fashion label. Special exhibitions include ‘Dutch Design’ and ‘Gentleman’s essentials presented by MINI’. You can also shop online, where new products are added daily.
