Australian photographer and former SBS News reporter Marcus Reubenstein will provide a personalised view of life and travel across China in his new exhibition that’s opening for Lunar New Year.
China: Moments in Time is a series of large scale prints and multimedia installations collated from Reubenstein’s travels in China. The pieces distill fast paced modern society to isolate the daily lives of individuals living in China – their customs, emotions, struggles and triumphs.
There are 43 large scale prints in the exhibition, which aim to prompt audiences to spend time analysing the details of each. Find them at 541 Art Space from January 31-February 10.
