The Bidjari artist's first major survey exhibition traces 15 years of pioneering work
Christian Thompson is best known for his provocative self portrait photographs, but this exhibition covers 15 years of evolution, with photography, video, sculpture, performance and sound.
Curated by Charlotte Day and Hetti Perkins, the exhibition explores identity, race and Australia’s colonial history, and Thompson's own experiences. At the centre of the exhibition is 'Berceuse', a newly commissioned multichannel video and audio piece.
