Tracey Moffatt's having a bit of a moment right now – in the lead up to her solo show at the 2017 Venice Biennale, for which the Australian Pavilion in the Giardini will be entirely devoted to her work.
While you can see Moffatt's photo-media and montage works at the Art Gallery of New South Wales through to October, Artspace has gone full montage with a retrospective of the eight cinema mash-ups she created with filmmaker and cinephile Gary Hillberg between 1999 and 2015.
Montages: The Full Cut features the themed montages Lip (1999), Artist (2000), Love (2003), Doomed (2007), Revolution (2008), Mother (2009), Other (2010) and The Art (2015).
