Time Out says

This ferociously Tex-Mex bar is serving spooky Margaritas

With the spooky time of year upon us, the Rocks’ own brightly-lit, enthusiastically Tex-Mex bar and restaurant is going into Día de los Muertos mode. El Camino Cantina’s staff are serving colourful costumes, elaborately painted faces, and a range of freaky themed Margaritas in nine flavours.

Hit the sweet spot with a mixed bag of lolly flavours like Skittle Bomb, Sour Strap (strawberry), Whizz Fizz (orange) or Ghost Drop (blueberry). Or mix things up with the Mad Scientist (grape), Snake Bite (raspberry), Potion of Love (lychee), Devil Chilli (a mix of watermelon, chilli and chilli salt), Walking Dead (passionfruit), and Poison Apple (sour apple).

If you prefer your Margaritas more refined, take a look at our list of the best Margaritas in Sydney, but if you want your cocktail served neon bright, with slurpee-like consistency and a sugar skull charm hanging off it, you’re in the right place. All of El Camino’s seasonal special flavours come with a float of Grand Marnier on top and in two sizes, 15oz ($20) and 24oz ($24), or you can order up a Margarita tasting paddle with four flavours of choice (220ml each) for $30.

You can get your gob around these creepy Margs now until November 7. If you have a hunger inside you, you can book in for a two-hour Deluxe Day of the Dead fiesta package with all the Tex-Mex trimmings here for $89 per person. On Halloween itself, Saturday October 31, DJs will soundtrack a physically distanced Halloween bash and punters are encouraged to monster mash down in costume.

In addition to the spooky flavours on the Rocks at El Camino’s flagship venue, the menu will be getting the same ghoulish update at the outposts in Manly, Miranda and the Entertainment Quarter.
