This January, the Northern Beaches Council are offering a bunch of fun, educational school holiday programs along the Northern Beaches coastline. The activities, catered for children aged six to 12, encourage kids to interact with the natural world in a safe and supervised environment.
There’ll be a circus workshop for budding clowns and jugglers; ‘Stones and Bones’, which teaches kids how to make tools from natural materials; a Bear-Grylls inspired, 'how to survive on a coastline' program where kids will learn how to build a shelter and eat bush tucker, plus rock pool explorations and beach-combing sculpture workshops.
