Time Out says

Get your early 21st century groove on at this nostalgia-heavy dance party

It’s time to fire up MSN Messenger, dust off your chunky woven belts and run a skunk dye through your mop: there's a party in Sydney honouring the splendid tunes of the 2000s.

The Factory Theatre will take us back to simpler days of watching Rage on Saturday mornings, but instead of jumping on Limewire to burn a CD or update your iPod Shuffle (fancy), you can sashay onto the dancefloor. You and your crew will be getting low to all the very classy classics, from Akon and Eminem to JoJo, Destiny's Child, the Backstreet Boys, Britney and beyond.

Tickets to the January 26 party are going for a breezy $15-$30, so we recommend you snatch some while they’re so fresh (it had to be done).
