Keep Sydney Open is celebrating becoming a political party with… a party!

Basenji and Roland Tings headline a huge party on Saturday that’ll take over six floors of the Kings Cross Hotel. They’ll both perform DJ sets at the event, which also includes Luen Jacobs, Jack (Bag Raiders), FlexMami, Purple Sneakers DJs and Sidechains DJs. Plus many others.

Doors open at 9pm and it wraps up at 3.30am (be in by 2am, as lockout laws still apply). All proceeds from the night go to the performers and to the #keepsydneyopen campaign.

Keep Sydney Open spokesperson Tyson Koh says, “As champions of nightlife, it would be rude to launch a political party without throwing one. We’re determined as ever to ditch the lockouts but it’s important to support the venues, bands and DJs in the city. There will be a lot of hard work in the lead-up to next year’s election but for now, let’s dance.”
