Anyone who's frequented the Crows Nest part of the Pacific Highway on the regular will recall the cut-out of a crocodile dressed as a cowboy holding a sign saying ‘Fancy That’. While nostalgia over the sign remains, Fancy That has ditched the croc and moved down the hill to fresh new digs, where there's more space and more goodies.
It's a total treasure chest over two floors, with gems to be uncovered everywhere. Downstairs you'll find high-quality costumes and accessories, including Swarovski crystal-encrusted masks imported from Italy and special FX makeup, like 3D flesh tattoos. Plus, with the movie release licenced costumes, you can try before you buy.
Meanwhile upstairs you can hire everything from intricately beaded flapper dresses to giant animal mascots. Make use of the iPads to browse their extensive collection or ask one of the instore stylists for help. They even have tailoring facilities onsite to make minor alterations so that the costume you choose is perfect.
