The gourmet chefs and wine connoisseurs behind the the Mudgee Wine and Food Festival will bring a taste of the country to Sydney’s shores for the Balmoral Wine and Food Fair. For the 28th edition of the pop-up event, Balmoral Beach will be transformed into a mini Mudgee.
Drinks will be provided by renowned Mudgee winemakers like Bunnamagoo Estate, De Beaurepaire and Robert Oatley Vineyards, and a distinguished pedigree of snacks will be available from High Valley Cheese, Mudgee Honey Haven and Milnes of Mudgee. With a virtual reality experience showing users the sprawling paddocks and charming town centre of Mudgee, you can get an insight into the region before the OG festival kicks off in September.
At the Balmoral bash this year there’ll also be a petting zoo, live music and the opportunity to win a weekend escape to Mudgee worth $1,500. Entry to this foodie haven is free – but you can purchase wine tastings on the day – and it’s a family-friendly occasion so you can bring the whole clan.
