Time Out says

City cyclists will convene at this pedal-powered festival

Bike riders of all ages will be donning their helmets and racing to Leichardt War Memorial Park for Big Bike Day on September 23. This annual cycling festival invites cycling pros and bike riders still on their training wheels to a day of bike-related fun.

There will be practical maintenance checks for your trusty two-wheeled steed, workshops in bike skills and cycling road rules, and the chance to test out some new wheels from local bike shops that will bring their gear to the park. You can give one-wheelers a go and ride a unicycle, give rock-climbing a crack, or just enjoy the ice cream and bicycle-powered smoothies and coffee. Then finish off the day with a spin around the Inner West via bike path.

The best part is, all activities and treats on the day are completely free.
