Time Out says

Try your hand at stretching burrata before sitting down to a formaggi-focused four-course dinner at one of Sydney's favourite waterside restaurants

Love cheese? Jelly of all your friends in Italy right now? Live your own dolce vita without leaving Sydney at Otto's very first Festa di Formaggi. The Italian waterfront restaurant will be celebrating the art of making Italian cheese with a little help from legendary local dairy purveyors Vannella. Second-generation cheesemaker Giuseppe will show off the traditions of southern Italy with a cheese stretching demonstration, and you'll also get to have a go at making your own burrata before sitting down to enjoy a four-course menu. Dive into burrata with pickled mushrooms, hazelnuts and crostini, followed by two courses of pasta – a pumpkin and ricotta cappellacci with burnt sage butter and hand-rolled cavatelli with spicy Calabrese beef ragù and smoked stracciatella. A twist on Sicilian cassata (a layered ricotta cheesecake with rum-soaked fruits) will cap off the evening, which also comes with matched wines and canapés on arrival. Bookings for this dreamy dairy overload are essential, and all guests will also get an Otto and Vannella gift bag to take home (fingers crossed for even more cheese). Belissimo!
