Time Out says

Hit up this lively laneway for street food, live music and mulled wine after dark

Every Thursday this August, Manly’s Market Lane will be buzzing with street performers and sizzling food stalls for Market Lane Live. This is the first time the scenic northern suburb will get to feast at this particular foodie event, but with local business sharing their beloved snacks and sounds, it’s sure to be a ripper.

The party will kick off in front of Manly Library at 5.30pm each evening, when the heaters are switched on as the sun goes into hiding. You’ll get to eat dinner under the stars and fairy lights, testing dishes and drinks from pop-up stalls by local favourites like Scandinavian kings Fika Swedish Kitchen, the aptly named Market Lane Café and the fantastical Nepali-Hawaiian fusion masters, Momo Bar Manly.

As you dine, you’ll be serenaded by musicians playing in the lane, get to gaze at street art and maybe even encounter a magician or two. While booze is on the menu there’s mulled wine to keep you toastie this is a family-friendly event, so kids are welcome and catered for.
