Time Out says

Take part in workshops, learn about Indigenous healing practices and eat traditional foods on the first day of Reconciliation Week

The University of Sydney is hosting an Indigenous marketplace on May 27. Over lunch, practice Indigenous craft techniques in the jewellery making workshops, learn about traditional medicines from Gamilaroi and Ularoi healers, and be introduced to native Australian animals and Dreamtime stories by Brewarrina Elder, Colin Hardy OAM from Taronga Zoo. There’ll also be local artwork on display and food stalls slinging kangaroo burgers and other dishes featuring Indigenous cooking practices and ingredients.
