Time Out says

Prepare for some serious meat sweats at this porky festival

Public House Petersham is hosting a neighbourhood feast, and just like a well-cured Christmas ham, porky produce takes pride of place at the table. This one-day festival in PHP’s party carpark will feed the whole family with dishes like barbeque-glazed pork ribs and extra thick bourbon-maple bacon-pops. It might be one to miss for your herbivore friends – almost everything from the doughnuts to the beer has a meaty element.

Like any proper Inner West party, local breweries will be pouring beers on the day, with fresh batches infused with sweetened bacon flavours just for the festival. Between Batch Brewery Co, Young Henrys and Wayward Brewing Co, you’re sure to find the right ale or larger to match your sizzling porky plate.

This is a family-friendly event, so kids are catered to with face painting, colouring competitions and doughnut-eating races. And you won’t miss your regular Sunday afternoon meat raffle, with a mega meat tray up for grabs. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the St Vincent De Paul Night Patrol, which provides meals and support for people facing homelessness throughout Sydney.
