Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel invites you to drink pink

It’s rosé season at the Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, and to celebrate the arrival of summer, they’re dedicating a full day to that pretty pink sipping wine. The Rosé Street Fest will spill out onto Military Road, which is adjacent to the hotel, to showcase rosé from more than 20 wineries.

This pink street party will host winemakers including Château Roquefeuille and Mirabeau from France, Gilbert Family Wine Co, Batch and Co, Tractorless Vineyard, Bone Dry Rosé, La Maschera and more. There’ll also be a corner of beers and ciders, as well as fortifying food stalls offering halloumi burgers, beef burgers, salmon and chicken robata and fish and chips.

Entry is free but for the best value, pre-purchase one of two rosé packages. For $32, the Standard Package includes nine tasting tokens and one glass for the day. The BFF Package includes 18 tasting tokens and up to two tasting glasses for $49 (saving you $30, so you can spend it on other fun pink things).

Music will feature throughout the day: acoustic performers from 11am, and DJs in the Aperol DJ Cart from 3-7pm. There will be a series of fun activations as well, including a doggy photo booth and a giant claw machine giving you the chance to scoop up prizes.

It's hard to think of a better place to drink rosé than the Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, with its beachfront location and European sense of style, so this is one of those festivals that makes perfect sense as we tip over into summer. See you down there.
