Treat yourself to two days of chocolate desserts, cooking demos and food stalls

Ready to indulge? Sydney's biggest dedicated chocolate festival returns in 2018, this time in a bigger and better location, taking over Sydney Showground.

This year the Smooth Festival of Chocolate will pack out the first weekend of September with a seriously delicious day of all things chocolate and sweet treat related. Punters can sample chocolate desserts, pick up baking tips with live demonstrations and spy chocolate sculptures, and dig into desserts and beverages created exclusively for the festival.

You’ll be able to try treats from the likes of Black Star Pastry, Knafeh Bakery, Pimp My Chimney, the Chocolate Workshop, G6 Shakes and Peanut Butter Bar. Callebaut will be presenting the Callebaut Test Kitchen, which will feature live demonstrations from hot chefs including Kristen Tibballs and Adriano Zumbo, while the hugely popular Chocolatiers Quarters will showcase boutique chocolatiers. There will also be wine sampling at the Cellarmasters Cellar Door and the smooth Relaxation Station and stage with appearances from your favourite Smooth FM hosts.

The festival will host a wine and dessert pairing workshop for the first time, and let attendees drool over the fabulous creations in the annual Callebaut Royal Agricultural Chocolate judging.

This year you'll need to buy a ticket for access to all the sweet stuff, so get in quick.
