Time Out says

Clamber aboard this pop-up bar on the harbour for rum cocktails and pirate dress-ups

Even if you haven’t quite mastered your sealegs, any entrepid bar explorer will enjoy a ride on the Smuggler’s Ship. This pop-up, pirate-themed bar will be floating on Sydney Harbour in March, so grab your parrots and the most motley of crews and head seaward.

While you won’t be facing deadly sirens and crashing waves – the vessel will remain docked throughout the voyage – you will be required to seek out hidden treasures, climb masts and sing a shanty or two. There’ll also be many flagons of beer, wine and rum-based cocktails being passed around for the 90-minute journey.

This will all be happening aboard the James Craig, a meticulously restored 1874 barque sailing ship from the Sydney Heritage Fleet. It'll be anchored off Wharf 7 in Darling Harbour.

There’s only one date on the calendar so far for this swashbuckling party, so nab some tickets quick smart.
