Time Out says

Find new warming infusions from the camellia sinensis plant at this tea tasting of Korean blends

If you crave a cuppa regardless of weather, time of day or availability of a kettle, then you’ll be keen to join this locally run tea tasting masterclass. Local leaf experts Tea Craft have just arrived home from a tea investigation in Korea, and they’ve brought bundles of exciting blends back in their carry bags for you to taste.

They’re turning to the dark roast side and teaming up with Sample Coffee Roasters to run the event at the bean lover’s Precinct 75 café and roastery. In the one-hour tasting classes, you’ll be learning about the history of the leaves, processing methods and the best brewing practices.

You’ll also be drinking a whole lot of tea. Your tasting cup will see the Korean take on greens, oolongs, reds and aged teas, as well as ginseng. There are three sessions running on July 27 for $20 per person.
