Head to the races this weekend to catch Jason Derulo and some serious racing action
Royal Randwick racecourse will be hosting the inaugural running of the world’s richest turf race, the $10 million The TAB Everest, part of the Sydney Spring Carnival. The TAB Everest will be an exciting day of horse racing, with a very special guest performance from R'n'B pop star Jason Derulo.
Alongside the races, there will be plenty of entertainment off the track. Presented by Vogue, the Fashion Chute sartorial competition will be dishing out more than $20,000 in prizes and over at the TAB Virtual Reality Racing Game you can experience what it's like to be in the saddle. The Theatre of the Horse will let you see all the horses on parade before the big race, and racing royalty Gai Waterhouse, James Cummings and Hugh Bowman will all be in attendance. Get styled at pop-up hair and makeup stations or visit a pop-up bar from Heineken, Pimms, Makers Mark and Chandon.
More than $10 million in prize money will be contested in The TAB Everest, with ten thoroughbred races taking place on the pristine track. Following the final race Jason Derulo will perform all his hits live, in his only Australian performance.
